TERMS OF SALE
(Amended 01/30/06)
1. We accept money orders, cashiers checks and personal checks. We ship via USPS. We will NOT ship via UPS except for heavy radio equipment items. Orders shipped by Priority Mail are at actual cost. Parcel Post, Media Mail and First Class may carry a nominal charge to offset a portion of the high cost of shipping supplies.
2. Orders paid by money order or cashiers check are generally shipped within seven (7) business days. Orders paid by personal check may be 'held' for check clearance, unless you are already an established customer. We do notify our customers when orders are shipped. All orders must be prepaid.
3. We do not ship COD due to the extra paperwork involved and the added expense to our customers.
4. Prices shown do not include shipping, insurance or sales tax. Sales tax (8%) will be added to Oklahoma sales only. If we are shipping to an Oklahoma address we are required by state law to collect and remit sales tax.
5. We will contact you with the total amount due, including applicable shipping, insurance and sales tax. Shipping charges vary greatly depending on weight and distance. Therefore we are not able to list shipping prices with each item.
6. Used equipment, parts and manual sales are final - no returns or refunds. Availability of used equipment and parts is limited to items currently listed.
7. RETURN POLICY: Sometimes mistakes just happen. If we accidentally ship the incorrect item(s) to you, we will pay for return postage/shipping and ship the correct item(s). If a return is not due to our error, the customer is responsible for return postage/shipping charges. All returned items (unless defective) must be in as-sold condition. Used equipment, parts and manual sales are final and non-returnable. Refunds, excluding shipping costs, will only be issued after inspection of returned item(s). We request that you notify us in advance if you need to return an item. We do not charge a restocking fee on return items.
8. Canadian Orders: Unfortunately, Canadian 'routing numbers' are not compatible with the US banking system. We welcome our Canadian neighbors to shop with us, but require that all Canadian orders be paid by US Postal Money Order or Canadian Money Orders payable in US funds. We do not accept checks drawn on Canadian banks.
9. We make every effort to fairly and accurately describe all items we offer for sale. We avoid misleading information such as the extreme overuse & abuse of the word 'rare' and that mysterious '1 to 10 scale'. We're always glad to provide any additional information or photos on request. Insurance is a must for all equipment sales.
10. We reserve the right to refuse service, just like any other retail business.
11. PRIVACY STATEMENT: Browning Laboratories, Inc. has created this privacy statement in order to demonstrate our firm committment to an individual's right to privacy. Information from the order form is used to send orders to our customers. The customer's information is used to get in touch with the customer when necessary. Our Order Form is located on a secure server which encrypts all your information. The process of encryption takes the information you enter and converts it into bits of code that are securely transmitted over the internet. This scrambled data cannot be read as the information travels over the internet. Customer information submitted to Browning Laboratories, Inc. is not shared or sold unless required by law enforcement or government agencies.
12. Our Terms of Sale may be amended and updated from time to time without notice. Posted prices are subject to change without notice.
13. IMPORTANT: Placing an order means that you have read and agree to these terms.
